Culture Of One began as a solo original recording project, and has expanded over the last several years to include a variety of different facets, but live performance and studio recording remain very important parts of our service offering. Since 1992, proprietor Greg Marks has established himself as one of New Brunswick's most highly-sought freelance performers. He has performed with countless musicians, in venues as far East as Antigonish and as far West as Las Vegas. He is particularly well-known as a saxophonist (both solo and with numerous groups), but is equally at home as a vocalist, and has been known to appear on a myriad of other instruments. He was recognized in 2007 as Instrumentalist of the Year in the Saint John Regional Music Awards, and has received numerous other nominations and accolades over the course of his career.

His stylistic preference is for jazz, fusion, and funk work, but classical, pop, rock, blues, world beat, and alternative are all fair game.
